About F.I.S.H. Foundation
The F.I.S.H. Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the youth and young adults of Mississippi through exposure to the sport of bass fishing. We aim to create a community that supports and empowers young people to pursue their passion for fishing, instilling in them a sense of responsibility and respect for nature.
Get to Know Us
F.I.S.H. Foundation is a community of anglers who are passionate about serving and leading in their communities as they follow Christ. Inspired by the impact of professional anglers and brothers Alfred and Ed Williams, the foundation aims to use fishing as a way to connect with others and make a positive impact in Mississippi. Join us in our mission to share the joy of fishing and serve our communities.
"Fishing is not an escape from life, but often a deeper immersion into it."
Our Mission
At the F.I.S.H. Foundation, our mission is to introduce the youth and young adults of Mississippi to the transformative power of bass fishing. We strive to foster personal growth, environmental stewardship, and community engagement through our programs and initiatives. The youth of Mississippi have long since been only exposed to traditional sports: football, basketball, tennis, etc. Our mission is to provide opportunities for the next generation to develop essential life skills, environmental awareness, and a love for the outdoors through the sport of bass fishing.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create a generation of informed and passionate anglers who are committed to preserving our natural resources and are equipped with the skills and knowledge to become future leaders in outdoor recreation. Extracurricular activities are a staple in our communities. The Williams Family has determined that exposure to a different sport has the potential to open greater doors. The Alfred and Ed Williams F.I.S.H. Foundation wants to be the organization that transforms the trajectory of our communities by placing our full support behind the next generation of anglers.
